January 17, 2006 – First Point Incorporated, a leading value-added reseller of telecommunications equipment and networking hardware, is pleased to announce their strategic partnership with Valere Power. This partnership will allow First Point to distribute equipment from Valere Power, a leading provider of DC power systems for the telecommunications services industry.

The partnership is seen as an advantage for First Point allowing them to offer a top-notch power solution to their customers. First Point will distribute all of Valere Power’s product line – from their Compact DC Power Systems and Integrated DC Power Systems to their SLC Power Upgrades and Breaker and Fuse Panels.

First Point partnered with Valere Power because their power systems offer attractive advantages to Telecoms. Mike Fielding, vice president of First Point, explains, “Our customers will benefit because we will be able to provide a power solution that has less heat dissipation and a smaller footprint. This will allow our customers to use the current space they have for expansions and build outs so they can avoid having to find a new space.”
